American Legion Post 403 is a non-profit 501 (c) (19) veterans’ organization and home of the Veterans Reception Center in Van Meter.  We are proud to serve the families of all veterans utilizing the Iowa State Veterans Cemetery near Van Meter by providing a venue to veteran families wishing to gather after the Committal Services.  Meeting space usage is free for the veteran family, but the Post always welcomes donations to cover on-going utility, building supplies, and building upkeep costs.

Venue space is also available to the general public for a fee – call 515-996-9166 or message vrciowa@gmail.com for details.  Guest attendance numbers and space requirements determine rental costs and vary by event.  For more information regarding upcoming events, check out the link to our monthly flyer below detailing Legion and Auxiliary activities.
